Project Overview
The Sun Dial Dr. bathroom in Tustin was reimagined as a private spa retreat. The existing bathroom had a dated tub-shower combo, vinyl flooring, and insufficient ventilation. STG Design Build gutted the space and rebuilt it around a freestanding soaking tub positioned beneath a new window for natural light, a curbless rainfall shower with linear drain, and large-format porcelain tile over electric radiant heating mats. New exhaust ventilation, water-efficient fixtures, and a dedicated GFCI circuit for the heated floor system were engineered into the design.

This project required careful coordination between plumbing relocation (for the freestanding tub), electrical work (radiant heating and GFCI circuits), and waterproofing (curbless shower membrane system). STG's integrated MEP and construction teams executed all three disciplines under one contract.
The Result
What was a purely utilitarian bathroom now serves as the homeowner's daily wellness retreat. The heated floors, rainfall shower, and soaking tub create a layered spa experience without leaving home, adding both lifestyle value and measurable equity to the Tustin property.
